Located in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, Parkdale is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

Parkdale is an extraordinarily good part of Thunder Bay for driving. The majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, and accessing a parking spot is generally easy. In contrast, Parkdale is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and it is easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. Parkdale is not very well-suited for those who travel by foot as running daily errands is challenging.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Parkdale. Additionally, parents and their children may consider it very hard to reach daycares as a pedestrian. As far as eating is concerned, some, but not all, property owners in Parkdale will live within walking distance of the nearest supermarket. Home buyers benefit from a few cafes as well.

Due to the presence of very few pedestrians, Parkdale remains relatively serene.
