East Mountain Area

East Mountain Area is a neighbourhood within Hamilton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is very often the favoured way to get around in East Mountain Area. Finding a parking spot is easy. However, East Mountain Area is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines. East Mountain Area is not very amenable to bicycling because there are a good number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and the cycling infrastructure is quite poor. Many of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not very convenient for those who travel by foot as almost no common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in this part of the city and accordingly they can be a very long walk away. Furthermore, this area does not contain any high schools. Moreover, it can be very hard to access daycares as a pedestrian. In terms of eating, a vehicle is typically needed in East Mountain Area to access the closest grocery store.
