We decided to sell our home in Saskatoon after 30 years living there. We reviewed proposals from several real estate agencies but ultimately chose Barry Chilliak Realty and, specifically, Dan Gaudet as the people who most met our requirements. During the course of several meetings with Barry and Dan, we made it very clear what we expected from them based on our thoughts regarding current market conditions. It appeared to us that rising interest rates with falling home sales and prices had produced a market in flux. What we asked them for was a rapid sale with minimal conditions on the offer. Acceptable conditions included a home inspection and approval of financing. Price wasn’t as important an issue because of our fear that prices might continue to drop while we waited. In the meantime, we had already purchased a new home elsewhere. The Chilliak Team successfully guided us to exactly what we asked for in what I believe was a largely difficult and unpredictable market. They’re listening and they get it.

Every once in awhile someone pops into your life for a reason and in this case Dan was to be our guide and mentor while looking for a new home 500 kilometres away in another city. We now know the reason our son and other family members put all their faith in his abiltiy to make a transition from one home to another a seamless possibilty and suggeted him to us. He pointed us in the right direction in choosing a lawyer, insurance agent, banker, and selected several possibilities that would suit our need. While the whole process is not yet complete we know the final result will be in our favor. He is our calming influence. Thank you Dan.
