When he was 9 years old Charles Doering remembers his parents laughing when he told them that he was going to retire at 45. Fast forward to 36 years later, and at 45 Charles had achieved his goal, but like the old adage, be careful what you wish for, he soon discovered that early retirement wasnt for him. I felt this huge void during the day. I felt like a fish out of water, and my kids would tease me about being a lazy bum, so I thought, I better do something. That something turned out to be selling real estate. In just 3 years as an agent, Charles had become one of Re/Max Twin City Realtys top performing realtors in the K-W area, attaining membership in the Re/Max Executive Club and the 100% Club Awards.
