If you are looking for a real eastate agent who can work against the tides, you have found me. I have seen both ends of the spectrum having grown up and spent most of my life in Alberta and subsequently moving to Nova Scotia. I married a Cape Bretoner and he brought me to where his heart belongs - the Maritimes. So while many maritimers have left this area to head West, I did the opposite! I have seen the growth in the real estate market in the west and I believe in a strong real estate market here in the Maritimes. I have come into the Real Estate industry with almost 20 years in the hospitality industry, many of those years in management positions. Through those experiences I have learned to work with people from all walks of life and I have gained a fantastic skill set in negotiating and working to exceed people's expectations. I tackle every day with a smile on my face and commitment to a work ethic that puts your needs first, every time! I attended the University of Alberta, completing a B Sc in Home Economics, which focused largely on the issues that families face in changing times and as they grow and their own situations transform. This course also dealt to a large extent in communications and relationship building which I know planted the seeds for me to succeed over the years in my hospitality field and will serve me well in this endeavor. I very clearly remember buying my first home, the excitement and fear all wrapped together! For first-time buyers, I know that it can be an intimidating procedure; understanding the steps in the process, matching the house you want with what you feel you can comfortably spend. It is a big investment and one that is very close to your heart as "everyone's home is their castle". I am sensitive to your concerns in this area and I know that I can help make this experience fun and rewarding and worry-free.
